Inês Osório (Porto, 1984) lives between Porto and Brussels.
Works as an artist, product designer, creative director, and artistic researcher.
Her work is represented in public and private collections, such as the Cerveira Biennial Art Foundation, the Joaquim Ferro Contemporary Art Collection, the Norlinda and José Lima Contemporary Art Collection, among others.
Since 2007, she has developed a professional practice as a sculptor, creating a body of work that seeks to explore the systemic vision of the human condition, materializing processes under this concept and interrelating her artworks with the context or local architecture.
Currently attending a PhD in “Architecture, Dynamics and Urban Forms” at Faculty of Architecture (FAUP), with a research grant funded by FCT since 2022 – a research that questions the role of artists in the production of the meaning of urban place, in a thesis that defends the intrinsic relationship between Art, Design and Architecture in the spatial construction of the contemporary city.
